What was Left Behind

It was time to leave. For generations you’ve traveled throughout the stars, taking shifts navigating, searching, until one day you found it. Your scanners have determined that this new place is both devoid of sentient life as well as fitful enough for life of your own. A blank canvas. At last, a new home. 

It is up to you, the glowing new comers from a far away land to record their stories, to unlock the mysteries behind some of their most prized possessions, and figure out exactly what happened here. You will have help from your AI that you’ve called Guide, and together you can calibrate your powers for you best chance at success and at some point calling this place home.

The game is simple to play and only requires a few 4 sided dice and a journal and pen to record your stories and the stories of the dead you meet and learn about. Your AI Guide establishes a few baselines for your game such as environment, materials, and some key words and phrases to help inspire you, but you all together will collectively build the stories of the ghosts you meet and the items you collect memories from.
